And while she never found the time to knit, I know for a fact she would've absolutely worn this shawl to death, and read you to filth at the same time, darling.
The Aunt Daphne shawl is a classic, large triangle shaped shawl with a simple pattern repeat for the double seed stitch sections and beautiful beginner-friendly cabling that effortlessly syncs into the contrast colour blocks.
This four skein pack comes with the printed pattern as well as a download code for Ravelry to get a PDF copy.
The Classic Daphne pack features three skeins of the gorgeous deep green with little rich pops of olive and cherry, paired with a skein of tangerine orange for the contrasting cabled bits.
The Alloys colourway pack consists of three 100g skeins of Death Metal for your main colour - a gorgeous maroon/purple with streaks of golden yellow and charcoal grey. The fourth skein is that of the contrast colour, Gunmetal grey dyed up in a semi-solid for added interest.
The Sunset colourway pack features a main colour of deep blue with pops of beautiful sunset pink, with a skein of gorgeous yellow/orange twin tones for the contrast.
The base for this shawl is an absolutely gorgeous DK weight 100% Superwash Merino, with the finest micron count you can get. So not only is it buttery soft, but it has a lovely bit of spring in it too so holds it's shape very well.
200m/100g - Hand wash only for best results, and always dry flat.
