This Christmas, Zombie has gone all out decorating the tree. Many an hour has been spent donning it with fairy lights, tinsel, baubles and... Is that... cranberry sauce?... Anyway, around this time of year, he's a little annoyed at how well wrapped up his walking snacks are, so his ingenious plan is to invite everyone round by the fire to circumnaviagte that particular problem... Well, what he wasn't betting on was enjoying the company of his chosen "snacks" so much, that he forgot to eat them. Everybody had a lovely time toasting marshamallows, drinking mulled wine and not being eaten.

Perhaps he'll try again next year.

Anyway, Zombie's plan backfireing aside, this colourway is a micro-striping sock yarn with deep Zombie Green and mega-speckled white.

Footfree Squish is my 4ply fingering weight base. 100% Superwash Merino. This super soft yarn is a smidgeon more plump than Sturdy Sock because there's more merino in place of the nylon, and while I wouldn't recommend it for socks, I'd shout it's virtues to the rooftops for every other fingering weight project. That's why it's called Footfree, and of course "squish" is an industry term, meaning "yarn so soft that once you pick it up, you can't put it down." 400m/437 yards per 100g.

All of my yarn is prepared and stored in a smoke and pet free environment.

Superwash wool can be machine washed on a delicates cycle at 30⁰c, but I would recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry.

I have done my best to accurately represent the true colour of the skeins with my pictures, but due to differences in screen settings, what you see may not be exactly the same shade as the pictures I’ve taken.

As with all hand dyed yarn, no two skeins will ever be identical. However, where possible I will send skeins from the same dye lot together. A little bit of colour run may happen in the first few washes, but this will be minimal.
